Privacy policy
St Andrews International School Bangkok is obliged to comply with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA) in collecting sensitive personal data about you for the purpose of providing an education. The School will always try to act in the best interests of staff and students and, as far as it legally can, we will take your preferences into account where appropriate.
Relevant definitions
Terms set out in this consent form shall have the meaning given to them as set out below:
Consent means a permission from an individual, which is freely given, for using his/her personal data for a specific purpose. It can be withdrawn at any time.
Data subject means any person whose personal data is being collected, held or processed.
Why do we need Consent?
During a data subject's time at the School, we have to collect health data and ethnic origin for the purpose of providing visas, medical insurance and complying with regulatory authorities in Thailand. The School gathers these together with Nord Anglia Education Limited and/or its affiliates (NAE); together the School and NAE will be referred to as ‘we’, ‘our’ or ‘us’.
In line with related school policies and PDPA, the School takes every precaution to store the data securely (in most cases electronically) in line with our data storage and data retention policies.
Refreshing your Consent
Consent will be refreshed where any changes in circumstances occur – this will be as follows:

New requirements for Consent – i.e. an additional purpose other than described above; or

Any changes in the law;

Logging in with Google
If you choose to log in with a Google account, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with Moodle @ St Andrews. We use them only to identify you and match you to your existing school account. We do not ask for access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google data, we do not share the information Google gives us with anyone else, and we never use it for advertising. You can remove Moodle @ St Andrews's access at any time from your Google Account settings.
